About Me

I'm a Chartered Accountant (ACA), starting my career in the audit department at a Big Four accountancy firm. I then moved into corporate finance at an investment bank, working on mergers and acquisitions for corporate and private equity clients. I currently work as a journalist for a leading financial publication, specialising in personal finance and investing. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking and travelling.

 

I set up these D of E courses as I'm passionate about equipping young people with the finance, business and life skills they need. My teenagers have recently completed their Duke of Edinburgh bronze and gold awards, so I understand the challenge of juggling commitments. 

 

The courses focus on being engaging and understandable for teenagers and young adults, with practical, real-life applications. Participants receive individual (but positive!) feedback on tasks and can ask questions at any time.
